Project Chaos and Cosmos
Everyday, making use of language in such a natural and inherent way, we forget that so many other languages exist to be explored. Because we are distracted so often by this confusion of perception, it is hard to become aware of the plural network of languages that manifest themselves through objects, images, numbers, musical sounds, gestures, signs, interaction of forces and movements, expressed in our natural condition of social beings.
Through every system of sense production, developed by these languages, we spread ourselves. Understanding language as something so vast, Musical Manifesto has the intention to realize music as a inherent manifestation of every culture, and naturally, to every people.
By the difusion of rhythms and instruments, characteristics emerged from the structure of the Duo, there is the main purpose to comprehend, through experience, what ancient cultures and civilizations already knew centuries ago: “Universe is vibration”.
Conceiveing this vibratory field as the root of all physic experience, and why not, spiritual, the Duo has the intention to promote exchanges from a long traject in Artistic Circles in the Old Continent, with the main objective of tightening musical and cultural bonds, transforming distance into something merely geographic.
The Duo Musical Manifesto intend to bring brazilian rhythms – like Baião, Samba, Maracatu – to the so called Underground, to experience this musical circle by means of comunication and learning about other cultures and, from that, pollinate the Idea that all musical cultures Interact in a magical and natural way. Rhythms and harmonies can be polished through diferent instruments, and also explored in many diferent ways.
The Duo also intend to realize presentations to construct a musical universe without borders to human creativity, living the vibratory Field that music naturally causes through waves – primeval physical phenomenon that gave birth to the universe – in a collective and personal way, understanding that our creativity is the most elevated condition of our species.
